TASTE 404 Atlanta — Powered by Uber Eats & EatOkra
Creative Direction · Visual Identity · Campaign Design
TASTE 404 is a citywide celebration of Atlanta’s Black-owned restaurant scene—curated and powered by Uber Eats in partnership with EatOkra. As Creative Director, I led the development of a disruptive and culturally intentional visual system that amplified Black culinary voices and honored the deep influence of ATL’s food scene.
The campaign’s aesthetic is rooted in bold collage, layered storytelling, and street-level design—mirroring the energy of Atlanta itself. Each visual element was crafted to honor the spirit of the restaurants, while driving awareness, representation, and community connection.
Key Objectives:
Amplify Black-Owned Restaurants across Uber Eats’ marketing ecosystem
Drive ATL Representation by highlighting local culinary icons and unsung food heroes
Expand Access to tools, education, and exposure for BORs through partnerships with EatOkra, Goodr, and Operation Hope
Creative Outcomes:
Poster series and hero compositions that balance grit with elegance
Branded content rooted in legacy, influence, and community pride
Scalable graphics system adaptable across social, print, and environmental spaces
Messaging that highlights both celebration and call to action
In response to the post-pandemic challenges facing Black-owned restaurants—including staffing shortages, marketing gaps, and rising food costs—this campaign became more than promotion. It was a resource, a rally cry, and a recognition of value.
Through vibrant storytelling and visual symbolism, TASTE 404 made the invisible visible—turning ATL's culinary landscape into a platform for empowerment.
